It's been a long time, I apologize for having vanished in the manner I did from the community, a lot of things turned up with life that quite frankly demanded my attention. But I'm back, with more manga for sale than ever! To those who contacted me in the past while I was away, I'll respond to you, just incase you still want them. 7:57PM - I'm tired of thinkin', of what my life's supposed to be.

I haven't really posted, POSTED in some time. Been busy, not with work but more with my time off. Been out living life with my cousins, late night bike rides with my sister and trying to reconnect and calm the eff down with an ex. All in all, good times. Plus my net has been off/on and slow as hell and I haven't really seen/read much on lj. WHAT DID I MISS?

When I do have decent net access, I have been living at gdc and they have a great bunch of people and I have spoiled myself endlessly with this tour. I just can't wait. Before I could just go about life and be like, "OH WOW, it's the 15th already? I got a show to go to tonight!" but not for Green Day, I count down the days and beat myself up over how it'd go. I wonder about all the old friends I'll see at the San Jose show, the surprise I have in store at the Sacramento show, the epic Vegas show and I praypraypray they play 21st CB in it's entirety at the last show in LA. See? Beating myself up. I angst over these things. I am GREEDY. I want to hear 21st CB in it's entirety again.

Been listing to MJ endlessly on a loop. I actually have been before his death, BAD is easily the third most listened album on my ipod. First is (of course) TBP and second is AI. (Typical!) But with his death, fans have been coming out of everywhere and some are making great graphics and I have to share this link! TONS of wallpapers from most of his eras. The Captain EO one had my floored. WOW. I think I'm set for the year. Another great post on livejournal, not Mj related but NKOTB related is this, widgetchick did a great write up of an end of an era/fandom. Can we really call it an end? Sure I've talked shit and lurked and watched with glee at the drama, but I've got to know some really great people like widget, emobeauty, catdecember, fautedemieux73, debbie and so many more people. You guys are crazzzzzzzzzy but I love you guys.

I just put in my hair a while back punky's midnight blue and it still looks good. I need to touch it up, but before that I really want to an appointment in to do some bleaching but all my days off are filled up. That and I get paid NEXT week, so I should wait, I want cash to tip the poor woman who will be doing my hair. I tip easily 20-30 dollars alone. I want to try something local but all the ladies people recommend to me aren't English speaking. I want to drag a coworker along but no one is willing to sit and wait, it is a dreadful process but I'm going to suck it up and ask the ward clerk if she can come with me. I really want more blue.

It's kinda weird to say this but with MJ's passing, more than ever I don't want to so uptight or stress out so much. I try to be nicer. I try to be more honest. Plus I want to be surrounded by all the right people, considering MJ had none at the time of his death. I have been spending and talking to F more and more. He was the guy I met at the FB HT show last year and one of the best guys I ever got to date. We hang out, talk on the phone and it feels good. I was a loner and I loved being alone but now as I get older, it's just dreadful. Even just being alone in the house when my sisters aren't around makes me a little sad. I don't need people, I am far from clingy but it's just nice having someone around. He is not always around since he lives a bit far, but that's ok. I was never the type to want to see my bf every single day. (That is madness! My sister is like that. How does one do it?) It's just nice to have someone who doesn't judge my diagnosis, he is one of the only that I can talk to about it that isn't my Doctor. So yay? But we aren't dating, he knows I am interested in someone else. But says he is willing to wait. Normally I would run screaming but that is loyalty that I need at the moment?

Some pics of the casino trip. All off my phone. We just swam and hung out in the sun. I did gamble once, won 60.00 and got out and read the rest of the night. Yay. I'm so boring, but no one seemed to mind. The room and it's beds were nice and plushy. The TV selection sucked, but I never put in any real value in television. ( Read more... )

12:44PM - Lost/Missing Membership Cards and how to get one...

Since my post about the slightly revised door policy, I have received many questions/comments about how to replace/get membership cards from people who have applied for membership and are still waiting for cards or people who have misplaced/lost their cards.

This note should help answer your questions.

If you have applied for your membership card and you have not yet received your card but nothing on your application info has changed, please continue to sign in at the front door when you visit. The sign in book helps us identify folks who do not have cards so we can get those out to you.

If you have applied for your membership card and information has changed (address or legal name change), please fill out an update form at the front desk in addition to signing in at the front door when you visit.

If you are a current member and have lost your card/your card is damaged beyond use but your information has not changed since receiving membership,please sign in at the front door until we can get your replacement card out to you.

If you are a current member and you do not have your card and your information has changed please fill out a membership update form at the front desk and continue to sign in until you get your card.

When you receive your card, please sign it and print your name on it to make it valid and then put it somewhere where you can access it easily (like your wallet).

Laminating your card to protect it is not only acceptable, it's highly suggested.

Lastly, once we've got this all sorted out and everybody has a card, your cards (and state issued id) will be what you will be using to gain entrance into the club. You will be responsible for replacing it in a timely manner if anything happens to it, or for notifying us if you do not receive one within 8-12 weeks after applying for membership.

oops havent been online since last sunday. friends b-day thing went well but not oerfect coz my co-conspiritor caught the evil flu and couldnt help so much getting things ready.

only worked 3 days this week. really loing that. so in the last fortnight i worked 4 days in total thanks to the flu so my pay is gonna be pitiful!

mum isnt going to england on monday coz she isnt anywhere near 100% and her doc wants to stay here till she is a bit better so she is going sometime in august now.

saw HBP last night. 1) lots of funnies 2) was Draco-tastic. the D/Ger in me squee-ed. when that shit comes out on dvd people are gonna gave a capping frenzy man!!!!!!!!!! didnt tink the chick who played narcissa was gorgeous enough though - VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!!!!!!!
but hell Potters been disappointing me for years now!!!!!!!!

umm.still not over this infection. my right ear is always muffled and i get lil crackley noises in my left one. and since i finished my antibiotics am getting sore throat and actual ear ache again. joy.also feel nauseuos quite a bit so i dont feel like eating very often.

i was gonna post aout something else but am damned if i can recall what itis.

facebook will not load properly for me. ANNOYING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!1

8:38PM - Weekly Anime Viewing Group Seeks Members

So our regulars are regular no-shows, mostly because they're later night owls than we are. So we're looking for more regular members for a weekly Friday anime viewing online with others. We would group vote on anime (generally, but not necessarily) in our (founding members) stockpile, and either switch between two series from week to week (so if you can only make it every other week you don't miss anything from a given series), or just watch one series end to end until we finish it/run out of subtitled episodes. Anyone interested? We're running at 9:00pm EST (20 minutes from now) tonight, and hoping to have a usual start time of 8:00pm EST to 9:00pm EST.

Comment here if you're interested and I'll send you the link. You can watch tonight with us, and then see if you'd like to stick around. Until we know if any of the members are going to show, we won't know what we're watching, but if they show we're watching Kyou Kara Maou. If they don't, we're probably watching UFO Princess Valkyrie or Futakoi...
